Karma

I am a firm believer in "what goes around comes around". I am also a firm believer in hard and honest work. Unfortunately there are people out there that believe quite the opposite. They believe they have to tear others down and cheat their way to the top.
Earlier this evening I got an email from [what I thought was] a local photography studio. This studio is very well known in the Salt Lake area, so I was a very surprised when I read this:

"Yet another silly girl with a camera that thinks they can moonlight as a photographer without the proper education and real world experience. I hope you feel great about ruining peoples once in a life time events with badly exposed, badly lit, awfully composed images that were taken with some cheap camera. You are not a photographer, you are a camera owner."

Now, I can't write my initial reactions to this email. To say the least, I was irate. How DARE someone attack my work like this. My wonderful husband, then goes to this studio's website, and sees that someone is framing them. Some jerk actually made up an email address close to the studio's and sent these emails to multiple photographers! I wish all of this didn't bug me as much as it does. But it's more than just someone attacking my work, but that this is what the world is coming to. It's so so sad. I hope people like this are just a minority, and will become extinct.

Well, that was my rant. Have a great day. Be nice to people, because if you're not it will come back to bite you in the rear. Love y'all!!!!!
